MyHRM

Live heart-rate bridge

Turn your Apple Watch into a Bluetooth heart-rate strap.

MyHRM rebroadcasts your live Apple Watch heart rate as a standard Bluetooth sensor. Garmin, Wahoo, indoor trainers, and gym machines can use your Watch — no chest strap.

Heart rate is relayed live — never stored or sent to a server.

How it works

Apple Watch heart rate on your head unit in three steps

1

Start a Watch workout

Open MyHRM on Apple Watch and start heart-rate broadcast. HealthKit begins a workout session so BPM updates keep flowing.

2

Tap Start Broadcasting

On iPhone, tap Start Broadcasting. Your iPhone begins advertising as a Bluetooth heart-rate sensor named “MyHRM”.

3

Add MyHRM on your device

On your Garmin, Wahoo, or gym equipment, go to Sensors → Add Sensor → Heart Rate and choose “MyHRM”.

What it does

A real Bluetooth heart-rate sensor, powered by your Watch

MyHRM speaks the standard Bluetooth Heart Rate profile, so the devices you already own just see a heart-rate monitor.

Your Apple Watch is the sensor

MyHRM reads live heart rate from an Apple Watch workout — no chest strap, no extra hardware to charge or wear.

Standard Bluetooth heart-rate strap

Your iPhone advertises as a normal BLE Heart Rate sensor (service 0x180D). Any head unit or app that pairs a Bluetooth HRM can use it.

Real-time BPM relay

Heart rate travels Watch → iPhone → Bluetooth as you ride or run, using a mirrored HealthKit workout session for a steady live feed.

Pairs with Garmin & Wahoo

Add “MyHRM” from the Heart Rate sensor menu on a Garmin Edge or Wahoo ELEMNT, the same way you would add a chest strap.

Live status at a glance

One screen shows current BPM plus the state of each link — Apple Watch, Bluetooth sensor, and the connected head unit.

Refresh Sensor recovery

If a head unit drops the connection, Refresh Sensor rebuilds the Bluetooth advertisement and GATT service so you can reconnect quickly.

Works with Garmin, Wahoo & more

Validated on the Garmin Edge 840, and expected to work with most Garmin Edge and Wahoo ELEMNT head units that pair a Bluetooth heart-rate sensor. Bluetooth only — no ANT+.

View compatibility

Nothing to sign up for, nothing stored

MyHRM reads heart rate from a HealthKit workout, relays it live over Bluetooth, and never writes it to a server. There is no account.
